Originally erected in 1889 by Joseph Ireland, the 23 South Fullerton Avenue building has been renovated as a historic re-use project. Since 2006, Bangz has meticulously designed the ultimate salon and spa with features that are sure to please all the senses.

• An air purification system that replaces inside air with fresh air 15x's per hour
• Floating bamboo floors with 1" of 100% recycled rubber for back support
• Water temperature regulators that ensure hair washing always stays
  consistent
• Radiant heat in the spa keeps the tile floors warm and reduces energy

• Metal halide light bulbs provide full spectrum light as low energy as
  fluorescents
• 50,000 hour bulbs are replaced only once every 5 years
• Hair sinks are rated the most comfortable chairs by global salon leader

• Original pews have been restored and reused to preserve authenticity

Careful attention was given to our services as well. We have added a wonderful array of spa services that are sure to reignite what it means to get pampered. Our luxurious services now include anti-aging remedies, natural herbal soaks, world therapies, and diet planning. Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa has also incorporated exclusive medi-spa treatments such as laser hair growth, injectables, skin tightening, laser hair removal, teeth whitening, and much more!

Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa considers children to be of or under the age of 9.  We have taken extra steps to ensure the safety and comfort of your little ones in the hair salon.

What age is considered a child at Bangz?
Bangz considers a child to be 9 years old and under. 

Which stylists can I book my child with?
You can book your appointment with a Stylist and Senior Stylist for a price of a child's haircut. All other stylists levels charge full adult prices for all clients. 

What is the charge for a children's haircut?
A Children's cut can be from $25-$35. This charge may be more if extra time is needed, your child has very long/curly hair or curling/flat iron has to be used. 

When can I bring my child to get a haircut?
Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday at a childrens price with a Senior Stylist. 

Can I bring my child to Bangz onSaturday for a haircut?
Yes, you can book an appointment on Saturday for a child's haircut. Stylist and Senior Stylist may be booked for a price of a child's haircut. All other stylists levels charge full adult prices consistant with the service that is booked. 

Can I bring my child to the salon when I get a haircut?
Yes. Your child may wait for you in the waiting area. If your child can not be left alone in the waiting area, we sugggest a care taker to accompany them. Please take complete responsibility for your child while at the salon as a courtesy to the other mothers and fathers trying to relax and enjoy services. No running, playing, yelling, or rough housing will be allowed in the salon at any time. 

Please remember to always accompany your child.

All salon and spa appointments can be scheduled by phone or in person at the front desk.  Your appointment time is determined strictly according to the services requested.  Be assured that this includes an adequate amount of time for a personalized consultation with your stylist.  Please help us to provide our clients with a no-wait experience by being on time to your appointment. We suggest that you arrive fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

We have a 24-hour Cancellation Policy for all spa services and chemical hair services. A credit card must be presented when booking these appointments.  Same day cancellations and no shows are charged 50% of the services. Twenty-four hour cancellation notice must be given in order to avoid a penalty

To reward our stylists for improving their skills, Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa employs the European Level System of pricing for hair services. In this system, as stylists improve their skills through continuing education, we reward them by allowing them to charge higher prices. It is a great way to control both the level of experience you require and the amount you desire to spend!

Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa accepts cash, personal checks, traveler’s checks, debit cards and all major credit cards, except American Express.

Gratuities cannot be added to a credit card bill.  Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for gratuitous purposes.  An ATM is available for your convenience near the front desk.  Checks and Debit Cards, however, can be written for up to 20% over your total bill to include gratuities.
